Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Flourish collects, uses, stores, and protects information when used by parents and caregivers. By using Flourish, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who the Service Is For

Flourish is intended for adult parents, guardians, and caregivers of children ages 0-3. Children do not create accounts or directly interact with the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect: (a) account information like email and account metadata, (b) child profile information like nickname and date of birth, (c) caregiver-entered app data such as questionnaire responses, Play Plan activity feedback, milestones, firsts, foods, words, skills, and tummy time logs, and (d) limited technical data required for app operations and security.

3. How We Use Information

We use data to operate Flourish, personalize Play Plans and developmental guidance, maintain progress tracking features, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Advertising and Selling Data

Flourish does not sell personal information. Flourish does not use behavioral advertising profiling for children.

5. Service Providers

Flourish uses service providers to operate the app, including Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, and Zoho Mail. These providers process information only to support app operations and related support workflows.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained while an account is active. Users may delete child profiles and may request account deletion. Upon account deletion, data is removed from active systems except where retention is required by law.

7. User Rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, and request portability of their personal data. Requests can be sent to hello@flourishkids.app.

8. Children's Privacy

Flourish is directed to parents and caregivers. Child-related information is provided by adult users for personalization and progress tracking. Flourish does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

9. Security

Flourish applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, authenticated access controls, and database-level protections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

10. International Access

Flourish infrastructure is primarily operated in the United States. If accessed from outside the United States, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of Flourish after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
